Kennedy Book Store has donated $10,000 towards scholarships to deserving UK students for many years. These awards were renamed the Joseph P. Kennedy Scholarships in 2001, in honor of the founder and president. Kennedy’s Wildcat Den continues the tradition and this year, once again, ten outstanding students were awarded scholarships. Besides having excellent grades, the candidates must be involved in extracurricular activities, especially benefiting charitable organizations.
